オーストラリアは北部にインドネシア、南部に南極大陸、南東部にニュージーランドまた、西にはインド洋が接し、南半球にあります。この広大で広大な土地は1770
年にヨーロッパ人によって最初に発見され、地図に描かれました。イギリスの大尉ジェームス・クックは4 か月間にわたり航海し、オーストラリアの南東の地域を図表にし、それをニュー・サウス・ウェールズと名ずけました。

A Brief History of Australia:
Australia is a proudly multicultural nation, supporting a
population of 18 million ranging from the Aborigines, the
first settlers, to Cambodians, Chinese, German, Greek, and
Latvians to name a few of many. Believe it or not, Australia
ranks as the second lowest, to Mongolia, for population density
of all countries in the world. Only 2.4 people per square
kilometer. Art, music, and dance play a large part in Australian
culture, with the oldest music created by the Aborigines.
During social gatherings, called Corroborees, the Aborigines
sing to create a link to the world of the Aboriginal spirits,
called Dreamtime. The Aborigines believe that long ago these
spirits sang and danced which created all living things on
earth. Today, the Aborigines perform these same rituals to
ensure the survival of all plant and animal lifeforms.
